I literally spent an hour trying to figure out how to apply the desired gradient effect to a shape. The one truly awful feature I've found so far is the gradient tool. Most tools are easy to use, and I was surprised at some of the edits I was able to make after the fact - it was relatively easy to change a shape's outline and fill colors, for example. I would call PaintShop Pro a good value even at full price, but I snagged it as a Deal of the Day for a steal, making it a great value for the price.
